Join us as Avey Lopez-Hanshaw is called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, January 28th, at 10:00 am at Kol Ami.
 
She is the daughter of Dr. Elise & Mr. Robert Lopez-Hanshaw. Avey attends Orange Grove Middle School. She is a talented artist who is passionate about human rights. Her hobbies include painting, sculpture, and walking in nature. She has also been a member of the Tucson Girls Chorus since she was 5 years old. For her mitzvah project, she is casting pewter Hamsa necklaces of her own design, to raise money for Jewish Family and Children's Services. She supports their mission of providing social services to Tucson's most vulnerable residents.
