Kol Ami Synagogue is the newest synagogue with the oldest roots in Southern Arizona. Our mission is to enliven our traditions and heritage of hope through song and celebration, worship and learning, and the pursuit of justice with respect and loving kindness.

Song and Celebration

We offer a variety of worship experiences for people of all ages.

Worship and Learning

We are a center to learn about and partake in Jewish tradition. Beginning in the Olga and Bob Strauss Center for Early Childhood Education, continuing through the Kol Ami Religious School, and with our outstanding Jewish Lifelong Learning program, we offer educational experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Pursuit of Justice

Tzedek, Tzedek Tirdof! Justice, justice shall you seek!”
In Reform Judaism, our passion for justice is shown in the ancient command, “Tzedek, Tzedek Tirdof! Justice, justice shall you seek!” Social justice, advocacy, and the concept of repairing the world, tikkun olam, are central tenets in Reform Judaism.

Respect and Lovingkindness

Kol Ami strives to create a more whole, just, and compassionate world. We come together as people from diverse backgrounds and experiences to participate in and deepen our own engagement in Jewish life. If you were raised as a Jew or drawn to Judaism as an adult, whether you have a Jewish partner or created an interfaith family, no matter your gender identity, we welcome you to create joy at Kol Ami.

Kol Ami is a proud Union for Reform Judaism member, and we welcome members and visitors of all faith backgrounds. Interfaith couples and families are eligible for membership. We welcome people regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity to be participants in our congregational life.

Kol Ami has a conscientious commitment policy so that finance is never a barrier for participating. We also offer other types of financial assistance for events and classes.
