Update on Executive Director Job

Dear Kol Ami Congregants,
As you know, Michelle Blumenberg started her term has Interim Executive Director in September 2022 after Donna Beyer's retirement at the end of August 2022. 
The Executive Director Search Committee is being led by Trustee Carey Turner. The other members of the committee include First Vice President Dana Adler, Kate Alexander, Rabbi Malcolm Cohen, Norm Golden, and Larry Goldstein.
 
Unlike the recent Rabbinic search, where the CCAR (Central Conference of American Rabbis) provided professional guidance and candidate vetting, we will have to do that part on our own. For that reason, the board voted to hire Sageview Consulting for recruitment support. 
 
A few weeks ago, Sageview met with different groups (congregant, clergy, and staff) to identify strengths and weaknesses within the organization and to craft a job description that included the relevant skills our community finds important.
 
We are happy that the job description is now ready and posted (please click here to view and share with anyone that would be a good fit or send me an email to recommend a name) and we hope to begin receiving qualified candidates soon.
 
I am excited about this chapter for Kol Ami and look forward to what the future brings.
