Sean is Kol Ami Synagogue’s Executive Director. He leads our staff and partners with the Board of Trustees and the clergy to carry out the strategic plan. Since he joined in September 2023, Kol Ami’s membership has grown by 47% (FY26) and the synagogue has ended every year ahead of budget.

Before Kol Ami, Sean spent more than 20 years leading teams in business and co-founded a social-impact start-up. He is one of the first 20 people nationwide to earn the Certificate in Synagogue Executive Leadership from the Spertus Institute.

Sean would love to hear from you, whether you’re new to Kol Ami or just curious.
