Looking to connect more deeply at Kol Ami? Our Groups and Committees offer meaningful ways to build relationships, share interests, and help shape congregational life. From member-led interest groups and affinity gatherings to volunteer teams and leadership committees, there are opportunities for learning, service, social connection, and collaboration. Groups may be organized by demographic, topic, or passion area, and many are open to the broader Jewish community. Wherever you are in your journey, there’s a place for you to get involved and belong.

  • Women of Kol Ami (WKA)

    Women of Kol Ami (WKA) offers women opportunities for friendship, spiritual growth, leadership development, and meaningful connection within the congregation. Through educational and cultural programs, social events, fundraising, and community service, WKA enriches contemporary Jewish life while supporting Kol Ami, advocating for social justice, and investing in our youth. As proud members of Women of Reform Judaism, WKA connects locally and nationally to strengthen Jewish community and inspire lifelong engagement.

  • Shul of Rock

    Shul of Rock is Kol Ami’s teen band program, bringing Jewish youth together through contemporary Jewish music, collaboration, and performance. Open to students in grades 7–12 who sing or play an instrument, the band offers a welcoming space for teens to grow musically while building confidence, connection, and community.

  • Chai Society

    Chai Society, is Kol Ami’s group for adults aged 25 - 45. We host monthly happy hours, engaging social events, and casual pop-up gatherings—all aimed at helping you meet others in the same stage of life and build new friendships.

  • Men of Kol Ami (MoKA)

    Men of Kol Ami (MoKA) brings together the men of Kol Ami for friendship, service, and community. Through monthly social gatherings, engaging discussion groups, hands-on volunteer opportunities like preparing meals at the Primavera Men’s Shelter, and regular meetings, MoKA strengthens congregational life while supporting our synagogue’s mission.

  • Sabra Singers

    Sabra Singers is Kol Ami’s junior youth choir, welcoming children who love to sing and connect through music. Open to students in grades 2–6 (and younger singers who are comfortable reading), the choir offers a joyful introduction to Jewish music, community, and performance in a supportive environment.

  • Adult Choir

    Kol Ami’s Adult Choir is a year-round vocal ensemble that meets Thursday evenings to explore Jewish music, build community, and enrich worship. Singing a range of styles—from traditional liturgy to contemporary compositions—the choir offers a joyful, supportive space for experienced singers and newcomers alike to connect, learn, and contribute to congregational life.
