Sydney found her way into Jewish communal work in high school, starting as a madricha and then office assistant in the Kurn Religious School. Inspired by her parents’ commitment to the community, she took on new roles—from helping in the administrative office to running livestreams during the pandemic—before taking on a full-time role during the formation of Kol Ami.
Today, Sydney serves as Kol Ami’s Programming & Technology Manager, helping bring people together through meaningful programs, both in person and online. She works to keep things running smoothly, from coordinating events to working with our marketing company, and supporting digital systems that connect the community.
Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doting over her rescue dog Kugel, crafting, thrifting, and finding fun local restaurants to try. She proudly earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management.
